WASHINGTON
SPOKANE - Police say they are searching for a missing elderly man who was last seen on July 7th eating dinner at the Sportsman Café on north Market around 5:00pm. Police in Lewis County located 73-year-old James Ehrgott’s gold Pontiac Sunfire on July 12. The family says they did not know the person who was driving Ehrgott’s vehicle.
James is a 73-year-old white male, six feet tall and weighing around 190 pounds. James has Gray hair, brown eyes and wears prescription eyeglasses.
Spokane Police say the circumstances surrounding Ehrgott’s disappearance are very suspicious. If you have any information you are asked to call the Spokane Crime Reporting Center during business hours, 532-9266, or call 911 any other time.

John Thomson has been identified as a suspect in the disappearance of missing Hillyard resident James
Ehrgott.
SPOKANE -- Authorities have identified a suspect in the disappearance and possibly murder of a 73-year-old Hillyard man.
Police are searching for 46-year-old John Wayne Thomson of Spokane. Thomson is considered a suspect in the disappearance of James
Ehrgott, who has been missing since July 7th when he was last seen at a diner in
Hillyard.
Ehrgott's disappearance went unnoticed until his car was located near Centralia and inside deputies found the missing man’s wallet with his credit cards gone.
